‘Tragic’ Harry and Meg ‘look like prisoners held captive by fame,’ says expert.

This is the first Archwell Productions series from Prince Harry and Meghan, focusing on the Invictus Games.

Founded by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, in 2014, the international adaptive sports competition Invictus Games remains a project close to his heart. The first documentary series will be co-produced by Netflix with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s own company: Archwell Productions.

In the new documentary series, Oscar-winning filmmakers Orlando Von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara follow competitors, organizers, and Prince Harry himself on the road to Invictus Games The Hague 2020.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the games had to be delayed, but are now scheduled to take place in 2022. The series will reveal each individual’s stories of strength as they prepare for the global event.

“From the first Invictus Games in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in an exceptional way to a mosaic of endurance, determination and resolve,” said Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

“This series will provide communities around the world with a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their way to the Netherlands next year. As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in association with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead or more proud of the Invictus community for continually inspiring global healing, human potential, and continued service.”
