On September 22, Slime Rancher 2 became available for early access on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox One X/S. At some point, the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 all received ports of the original Slime Rancher.

Slime Rancher’s Switch edition was known as the Portable Edition. This is because Slime Rancher could only play on the move with the Switch, even though the game design to be portable.

But since then, Valve has made the Steam Deck available. As a result, gamers may play their Steam library on a portable device called the Steam Deck.

Slime Rancher 2 is happily compatible with the Steam Deck, even though not every game published on Steam is. Unfortunately, the Slime Rancher 2 version on the Steam Deck isn’t a Portable Edition like the first game, which made available for the Switch.
