Argentina defeated Honduras 3-0 with ease thanks to two goals from Lionel Messi, extending their undefeated streak to 34 games.

For the first goal, the 35-year-old was in the thick of things, lobbing the ball over the defense to Papu Gomez, who then gave Lautaro Martinez a tap-in.

Argentina’s goal total was increased by Messi thanks to a coolly executed penalty.

After a defensive blunder, the Paris St. Germain striker scored the third goal with a beautiful chip over the goalkeeper.

Argentina, one of the favorites to win this year’s World Cup, will play Saudi Arabia in their first match on November 22 in Qatar.

On Wednesday, they meet Jamaica in their last matchup before the competition.
