James Corden seems to avoid Chris Noth’s questions during the interview with Kristin Davis.
James Corden apparently avoided asking “Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis any questions about the recent sexual assault allegations against his co-star Chris Noth on Thursday.
Hours after news broke that Noth allegedly took advantage of two women, Davis appeared on the late-night show to promote the new series “And Just Like That …”
During the show, Corden chatted with her and actress Chloë Grace Moretz about the success of “SATC” and which character each of the three stars identifies the most with.
Davis also spoke about auditioning for the role of Monica Geller on “Friends” and being friends with Courteney Cox when she landed the role.
Although it is not clear at what time the interview for the late-night show was filmed, neither Corden nor Davis discussed anything related to Noth, who “categorically” denied the accusations against him, or his character “Mr. Big,” who died of a bomb attack. heart in the first episode of the reboot.
Noth, 67, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2004 and another in 2015. The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.
The two women claimed that the actor lured them both to private areas and forced them. One woman alleged that she even bled and sought medical treatment because he was so rude to her.
The other woman also felt that Noth was tough and said she felt “totally violated”. She decided not to report it once Noth called her and left her a message suggesting it was no big deal.
Noth has vehemently denied the two allegations, telling Page Six in a statement: “The allegations against me made by people I have known years, even decades ago, are categorically false. These stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago, it doesn’t always mean no, that’s a line I didn’t cross. The meetings were consensual. It’s hard not to question when these stories came out. I’m not sure why they’re surfacing now, but I do know this: I didn’t assault these women. ”
Zoe Lister-Jones also presented her own account of sexual misconduct against Noth, calling him a “sexual predator” Thursday night.
The “Life in Pieces” actress explained that she guest-starred on Noth’s first comeback episode on “Law and Order” after “SATC” in 2005.
“I was drunk on set. During my interrogation scene I had a 22 oz. of beer under the table that he would drink between takes, ”he said in a series of posts Thursday. “In one shot he came up to me, sniffed my neck, and whispered, ‘You smell good.’ I said nothing. My friend from the club never said anything. It’s so weird that we do. ”
