How SEC teams fared in the college football playoff third-place standings.

The top seven stayed the same with Georgia, Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State remaining in the top four in the 2021 College Football Playoffs third ranking.

The rest of the top 10 was completed by Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest.

Around the rest of the SEC: Ole Miss is ranked No. 12, Texas A&M is ranked No. 16, Arkansas is ranked No. 21, and the state of Mississippi is ranked No. 25.

Oklahoma fell to No. 13 after its first loss of the season to No. 11 Baylor.

This year, the semi-final round will take place at the Cotton and Orange Bowls on December 31st. The national championship will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on January 10.

The CFP rankings come out every Tuesday at 6 pm CT on ESPN.
