Haunted Sequel Finally Has a Release Date on Disney Plus.
Disney’s upcoming Disenchanted movie is coming to all of us in the fall of 2022, so get ready for more adventures with Giselle from Amy Adams.
The film, a sequel to the 2007 film Enchanted, features a star-studded cast, including Adams, Patrick Dempsey, and James Marsden.
Adams, Idina Menzel, and Marsden, which will air on Disney Plus later next year, will reprise their roles as Giselle, Nancy, and Prince Edward.
As revealed by Deadline, Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays are going evil for the upcoming sequel.
Maya is best known for her roles in films such as Bridesmaids and her role on the animated series Big Mouth, as well as playing Vice President Kamala Harris on sketches for Saturday Night Live.
Yvette gained fans like Shirley on Community, while Jayma is better known as Emma Pillsbury on Glee.
Fans will be delighted to hear that iconic songwriter Alan Menken, the man responsible for us having That’s What You Know in our heads all this time, is also making a comeback.
The original film starred Amy as the cartoon princess Giselle, who is thrown into the real world, away from her “true love”, Prince Edward (James).
However, as he spends more time in real New York City, he discovers that it isn’t so bad after all.
It grossed more than $ 330 million (£ 237 million) worldwide at the box office and even racked up three Oscar nominations at the Academy Awards.
