According to authorities, one person was killed, and six others were wounded in a shooting early Sunday morning at a downtown nightclub in the US state of Florida.
Police are looking into a gunshot at a Tampa nightclub in the city’s downtown.
“Officers responded to a complaint of gunfire at the LIT Cigar & Martini Lounge at 908 N Franklin St. just before 3 in the am on October 9. When police arrived, they discovered one adult male victim already dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound “In a tweet, Tampa Police made a statement.
The statement said, “Six other gunshot victims, two adult females and four adult males, were transferred to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.”

According to the police, early evidence indicates a verbal incident between two sizable groups inside the club.
After being led outside, the fight intensified when one of the suspects walked to a car to get a pistol and started firing numerous bullets.
To generate leads for the investigation, detectives are now consulting witnesses. But, according to authorities, no arrests have yet been made.
“This brutality is senseless. There is no justification for someone to perish as a result of a pub brawl “said Mary O’Connor, the police chief. “We are carefully pursuing leads in order to identify those at fault.”
The Tampa Police Department is requesting anybody with information that might help identify and apprehend the perpetrator or individuals involved.
