Destiny 2: Beyond Light Leaving Game Pass: Destiny 2: Beyond the Light, the latest expansion for the game, followed this uproar.
When the Beyond Light expansion dropped last year, Bungie announced plans to remove tons of gear and remove it from the loot tables.
This was part of a broader rebalancing of the team in the game, and players hated it, and Bungie removed it shortly after.
Bungie has been trying to bring back lifelong players ever since. The game came to Xbox Game Pass to allow more new players to find it, a nice move.
Destiny 2 and all its content, including Beyond the light, debuted on Xbox Game Pass for PC last month, allowing more Microsoft fans than ever to jump into the fray.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light Leaving Game Pass
And with the upcoming Forsaken expansion, things were looking up. But with today’s announcement, Bungie has revealed that the console version of the expansion will soon be leaving Game Pass.
Destiny 2: Beyond the Light will leave Game Pass for consoles on December 8.
You will lose access to certain content after this point if you don’t shell out the money. Loss of expansion will mean that the Stasis subclass and related mechanics will no longer function. You will still keep all previously dropped loot, but newer story missions will also disappear.
So if you really want to access the content before you leave, you have only one option. Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a discount, and the Beyond Light expansion costs $ 35.99 on the service.
This will give you access after the delete date on the 8th. Not the best solution, but it is what it is.
