Conor McGregor says Georges St-Pierre would bottle up Anderson Silva fight.
Georges St-Pierre is undoubtedly one of the most popular and legendary fighters in the entire MMA world. The UFC Hall of Famer was at the top of his game in 2013, but would be leaving the company for a few years, which surprised many.
Georges St-Pierre returned to the UFC in 2016, where he faced Michael Bisping in a different weight class. Georges St-Pierre would hang up his gloves for good in 2019, ending a legendary career.
On the other hand, Anderson Silva is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the MMA world who competed against various big names in the MMA world when he used to be active. Silva was released from the UFC last year in November after losing to Uriah Hall in his last game.
Silva and St-Pierre are two of the all-time greats and fans wanted to see them face off against each other. A fan took to Twitter and asked Conor McGregor who would win in a fight between the two in their prime.
Conor McGregor made it clear that he thought St-Pierre would bottle up Anderson Silva if the two ever clashed.
George bottled it. Plain and simple.
Georges St-Pierre also previously hinted that he would compete in big fights after his contract with the UFC expires in 2 years.
Of course, whoever fights in the end, one can be sure that it will be entirely his own decision and will have nothing to do with the UFC.
