Cardi B tells all about her journey to hair growth.
Cardi B established herself as one of the best rappers in the world of Hip Hop and her music has reached people all over the world. She is also likely to respond to anyone who says she got pregnant to promote a record. It seems like she also opened up about her hair growth journey.
Cardi B also gave birth to her second child earlier this year. Because of this, she asked the judge to postpone the trial for the cover of ‘Gangsta Bitch’, for which she was sued almost 4 years ago.
One of Cardi B’s best physical features is undoubtedly her ravishing hair as fans have praised her numerous times. However, her amazing hair set was not done in a single day.
The rapper took to her Instagram and uploaded a series of photos of herself over the years while explaining how her hair growth took several years to perfect.
Why is it that every time I post my natural hair I hear “you are MIXED, you are supposed to have long hair”? That is not true and it is very misleading. I’ve been posting photos from my hair journey for years and being mixed doesn’t mean your hair is always long and curly – that wasn’t my case. Since I was a child I have had trouble managing my hair and a couple of years ago I found different methods that work for me and I look at my length now. They will try to make us believe that our hair will not grow that long, it is not true. A lot of the hair products we used back then weren’t good for our hair, but that was all we had to choose from and we couldn’t afford to go to the salon regularly, if at all. Now everyone is getting better options, making GOOD affordable products, learning from YouTube and natural hair tiktok on how to better care for our hair. I want women of color with tighter curl patterns to know that you don’t have “BAD HAIR”, there is no bad hair. and “good” hair does not mean a certain texture. ALL HAIR IS GOOD.
Take a look at my pinned story “HAIR DAY” and I can’t wait to show you more of my hair care routines.
Cardi B also recently felt like a teenager when she met Robert Pattinson. The rapper is more than happy with her current appearance and that’s what matters at the end of the day.
