Britney Spears, he’s not playing his cards near the vest … in fact, he’s using them on his shirt – he wants to get out of his tutelage, and it could happen today.

Britney and her fiance Sam Asghar, camera mugs with the words “#FreeBritney, it’s a human rights movement” front and center.

It’s no secret that Britney wants the guardianship of more than 13 years to end at Friday’s court hearing. That could happen, but it is by no means safe.

The termination of the guardianship is directly before the judge. His lawyer, Mathew Rosengarten, has presented his case … that it is incongruous that someone is under guardianship and can also work and function day today.

He also alleged a number of misdeeds by conservatives and others, including Britney’s father, Jamie Spears.

The key to the hearing will be whether the judge orders a mental evaluation … something that has been done and evaluated regularly every year of the guardianship. Britney has made it clear that she does NOT want such an evaluation, and even Jamie Spears did a 180-degree turn and said that her daughter’s guardianship should end without such an evaluation.

The judge may still order a mental evaluation, but it does not tell you which way you are leaning.

One thing is clear … Judge Penny sympathizes with Britney. After the singer was discharged in court last June, laying out in detail how guardianship has been torture for her, the judge praised her bravery in speaking.
