Britney Spears speaks after guardianship ends: ‘Best day of my life’

Britney Spears speaks after guardianship ends: ‘Best day of my life’.

Britney Spears said Friday was the “best day ever” as her 13-year guardianship came to an end, and she thanked her fans for helping her free her.

“OMG I love my fans so much it’s crazy 🥺❤️ !!! I think I’m going to cry the rest of the day, “said the 39-year-old pop icon wrote in his first Instagram post after it emerged that a judge ended the guardianship.

“Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen 🙏🏼☀️🙌🏼 ????” He continued, adding the relevant new hashtag, “#FreedBritney.”

The video post followed two earlier ones on Friday that appeared without captions, showing the “Toxic” singer’s outfit of the day, a tied green shirt, and white shorts.

She posted a selfie shortly after of her posing in a bright yellow dress, which has since been removed, reiterating, “I can’t believe it !!! Again … the best day of my life !!!! ”

“The court finds that guardianship of Britney Spears’ person and property is no longer required,” Judge Brenda Penny ruled at the hearing on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The victory was not unexpected, as it did so after the removal of Britney’s estranged father, Jamie Spears, from his role as Conservative in late September. Penny had called the arrangement “unsustainable” and – “toxic” in a perhaps intentional pun.

At the time, Penny agreed to allow Certified Accountant John Zabel to take over as Spears’ curator; it is unknown what their role will be in the future in light of the termination of the agreement.

Efforts to free Spears from guardianship, which was established in 2008 following her widely publicized breakup, increased dramatically this summer, helped by an explosive speech Spears made to the court in June and a new attorney, Matthew Rosengart, who took over. the position in July.

“I have lied and I have told the whole world that I am fine and happy. It’s a lie, ”Spears said during the dramatic June hearing, in which she also lashed out at her father.

It’s also been an eventful time in Spears’ personal life – she got engaged to her boyfriend, personal trainer, and actor Sam Asghari, in September, and the couple was seen touring a $ 16.5 million estate in Los Angeles in the exclusive Hidden Hills area the following month.
