Biden will campaign for Crist in November Florida: Vice President Joe Biden will debate 2024 presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis at a November campaign event for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist.

On November 1, Biden will fly to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to go to a party for Crist, who used to be governor and a congressman. He is lagging behind the well-liked Republican incumbent in the polls. The White House announced this on Sunday.

In the weeks after Hurricane Ian, Biden and DeSantis have been getting along in public. At a joint appearance, while on tour to assess the hurricane damage in Florida. Biden said that the two presidents had “worked for hand in glove” at a joint appearance.

But there are obvious distinctions between them. And let’s say Biden runs for re-election, as he has said. And DeSantis wins the Republican nomination and beats former President Donald Trump, who is thinking about running again. In that case, the two men could face off in 2024.

DeSantis, a popular Republican, has debated Biden on immigration, abortion rights, COVID-19 immunizations, and other subjects.

The fact that the president accepted Crist and worked to help him in the last few weeks of the campaign may indicate. That Democrats are still hoping to beat DeSantis in his home state.

It might also help Biden argue against a potential presidential contender.

Biden recently concluded up a western trip in which he sought to promote Democratic candidate Tina Kotek, battling in a tight race for governor in Oregon.

The November midterm elections will determine which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. Still, state elections and races for governor are closely watched for any policy changes that could affect abortion and the right to vote.

On Thursday, Biden will fly to Philadelphia to attend a party for John Fetterman, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania and the state’s lieutenant governor.

In one of the most critical Senate races, Fetterman is running against the Republican candidate, TV doctor Mehmet Oz.

Vice President Kamala Harris can break a deadlock and give the Democrats control of the Senate.
