Ben Higgins marries Jessica Clarke.
Ben Higgins married his longtime love, Jessica Clarke, in a romantic ceremony at The Estate in Cherokee Dock near Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, according to People.
“I’m very excited,” Higgins, 32, told the outlet. “We have a lot to look forward to. And I know we will have a beautiful marriage. ”
Clark, 25, was sporting a beautiful Anne Barge gown, while Higgins looked elegant in a tux.
The couple wrote their own vows while the ceremony featured “Winnie the Pooh” quotes selected by the couple, the outlet reported, adding that all guests had to be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend the event. . .
Unsurprisingly, several members of “Bachelor” Nation were in attendance for the couple’s big day. Wells Adams served as best man while Nick Viall, Becca Kufrin, Thomas Jacobs, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti witnessed the lovebirds say “I do.”
Before walking down the hall, Clarke, a gym owner, talked about her future husband.
“Ben not only makes me want to be a better person, he actually makes me a better person,” she told People just days before they were married. “It assures me in all my dreams and in all my goals. I never thought I would have a partner who accepted every part of me. ”
In April 2020, Higgins revealed that he and Clarke slept in separate beds at his parents’ Nashville home just a month after getting engaged.
“Right now, she has an upstairs bedroom in her parents’ house, I downstairs,” said Higgins, a “Bachelor” student, Viall, adding that it was a “level of respect.”
Higgins first met the “Bachelor” franchise in 2015 as one of the suitors on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette.” He became “The Bachelor” in 2016 and got engaged to finalist Lauren Bushnell. They ended the relationship a year later.
