Bayern Munich won at Viktoria Plzen in Group C, advancing to the knockout round for the fifteenth consecutive season.
While they have only won four of their first nine games in the Bundesliga, they have won all four group-stage matches in the Champions League, scoring thirteen goals.
Within 35 minutes, they had jumped out to a 4-0 lead with goals from Sadio Mane, Leon Goretzka, Thomas Muller, and Kingsley Coman. Goretzka also scored twice off assists from Leroy Sane.

The lead forced Julian Nagelsmann to make substitutions, including the injury-plagued Muller, which resulted in a fragmented second-half performance that allowed Plzen’s Adam Vlkanova and Jan Kliment to score.
Bayern has to earn a point in their next two games against Barcelona and Inter Milan to secure first place.
