Battlefield 2042 cannot load persistent data error (Fixed): The latest installment in the Battlefield franchise is here with Battlefield 2042.

Players are eager to go into battle, but not everyone is able to do so due to a small annoying bug preventing some connections.

If you’re getting Battlefield 2042 Can’t load persistent data error (code 15: 600P: -7A), here’s what you need to know, along with some possible solutions.

How to Fix Battlefield 2042 Cannot Load Persistent Data Error?

Players who receive the “Unable to load persistent data” error from Battlefield 2042, also known as error code 15: 600P: -7A, cannot connect to game servers and may not be able to join any games.

The first thing to keep in mind is that this is a widespread problem, which is why many players are affected.

The official BattlefieldComm Twitter account has recognized the problem and suggests retrying the connection to the server to resolve the problem.

Exit and press retry to try to connect again and resolve the issue.

While this is not the most consistent solution to the problem of not being able to load persistent data, it is your best option for successfully joining a game.

You may need to try it several times and if you are unlucky, you can try some of the following things.

Verify the installation

First, close Battlefield 2042 completely. You can try restarting it and trying to connect again, but we recommend that you check the installation files.

If you’re on a computer, you can do it on Steam or through Origin. The process is similar for both game launchers:

  1. Upon Steam, open your library and search for Battlefield 2042.
  2. Right-click on the title and go to properties.
  3. Navigate to the Local files tab
  4. then tap Verify the integrity of game files.

By doing this, the entire installation directory is scanned and any faulty files that may be present on the system are repaired. When the scan is complete, you can restart the game and try your connection again.

Upon Origin, open the app and go to My Game Library. Right-click on Battlefield 2042 and go to Local File, and then tap Verify. Similarly, the process will scan your installation and repair any faulty files.

Once it is complete, you can also restart your computer as an additional measure. When your computer is working again, you can start Battlefield 2042 and try your connection again.

If you still receive the Battlefield 2042 cannot load persistent data error, it is very likely that EA’s servers are having problems.

You can follow the officer BattlefieldComm account and stay tuned for any announcements about problems.

You can also contact EA Support for Battlefield 2042 via their website or forums for personalized assistance for your specific issue.
