Due to wicketkeeper Josh Inglis’ bizarre injury, while playing golf, Cameron Green has been added to Australia’s T20 World Cup roster.
A golf club broke in the grasp of reserve keeper Inglis, 27, cutting him on his right hand on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Green was a late addition to Australia’s initial team but performed well on their recent tour of India.

On Saturday in Sydney, the hosts and reigning champions face off against New Zealand.
The selection of all-arounder Green leaves Australia without a full-time backup for Matthew Wade, their first-choice goalie.
Earlier in a Test, opener David Warner filled in as a backup, while skipper Aaron Finch kept wicket in the Big Bash League.
