Atletico Madrid eliminated the Champions League in dramatic circumstances after missing a penalty in extra time.
The La Liga team, who lost to Bayer Leverkusen, will now play in the Europa League, which they won in 2018.
Madrid was given hope in the 95th minute when VAR brought the referee to the pitchside monitor and gave a penalty for a handball in the area.
