Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has extended his contract until 2027.
The Brazilian international player moved to Arsenal in September 2020 from Lille for a rumored £23.14 million.
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, described the youngster as a young guy with a strong work ethic. “It’s a joy working with Gabi every day.”
The new agreement Gabriel signed extends his first contract by two years.
The 24-year-old has nine goals in 81 games for the Gunners in all competitions.
Arteta said, “I believe that when we look at a central defender, we look at pairings.
“I believe Gabi has improved William Saliba’s game, and Willy contributes to that improvement.
“A successful squad has to play at a very high level, have a spine, and maintain clean sheets. We often engage in it.
With nine wins and one loss after 10 games, the Gunners lead Manchester City by four points at the top of the Premier League.
