The struggling club said that Angel Di Maria would be sidelined for three weeks after injuring his hamstring in Juventus’ dismal loss to Maccabi Haifa.
Juve said in a statement that Di Maria’s tests on Thursday “indicated a low-grade injury to the right hamstring.”
Juve says the midfielder would need around 20 days to heal fully.

With two games left, Juve is third in Group H and five points behind second-placed Benfica after a defeat that prompted both coach Massimiliano Allegri and president Andrea Agnelli to express his sadness for the club.
The 34-year-old has already missed two games due to injury after signing as a free agent in the summer and was scheduled to return to Serie A action after serving a two-match ban.
He won’t be able to play for Juventus in their last two group games against Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain, who lead their league.
Juventus will travel to Torino on Saturday, 10 points behind Serie A leaders Napoli.
