2 in custody after a pickup truck drove a dozen police cars in pursuit on the New Jersey Turnpike.
CRANBURY– About a dozen police cars chased a vehicle on the southbound New Jersey Turnpike Friday night.
It is not yet known why they were chasing the minivan.
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts, the police were able to box the vehicle until the driver stopped in the Exit 6 area in Florence.
The policemen approached the minivan with their weapons in hand, pointing at the car.
The state police detained two people.
A small dog escaped from the truck during the commotion but was captured by soldiers before he endangered himself.
Few other details were released.
